CORPORATOR's DOG's BDAY HOARDINGS

On Monday, Mumbra corporator Shivdas Bhagat’s dog celebrated a Jumbo birthday, quite literally. The dog named Jumbo, had hoardings with ‘Happy Birthday’ messages put up for him across Mumbra. If that was not enough, supporters of Bhagat distributed sweets among children near Mumbra station through the day, followed by a lavish dinner, which was organised by Bhagat. Of the several gifts showered on Jumbo, some included cushions, chains, sunglasses and a cupboard! Bhagat said, “Jumbo is very popular among my supporters. The banners are an expression of their love. I had brought Jumbo home on this day, four years ago and I treat him like my child. I celebrate his birthday every year.”
